NARANJA PARK QUAIL TRAIL SCULPTURE
Desription:
I a few years ago I worked on a Public Art Installation alongside 9 other people for the town of Oro Valley for the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Association. I was in charge of the concept, Which was then presented to the Oro Valley Town Council. I worked with the team to plan and build the installation, under the mentorship of Jason Butler and Hiro Tashima. The installation was unveiled at Naranja Park to town residents and council members upon completion. The installation is made up of six quails (making a family) on their way to Naranja Park to enjoy a day outside. This sculpture was made possible thanks to the partnership between The Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance, the town of Oro Valley, and the Pima Association of Governments.
